Meet The Staff
Administrative Staff
Rosamaria is the Practice Manager for both Dental Studios locations in Summit and Westfield, New Jersey. As a Practice Manager, Rosamaria leads the team of dedicated staff and is responsible for the day to day operational management of the practice. She has 30 years of experience in the dental field, 11 years as a Registered Dental Assistant and 19 at the management level. Rosamaria is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).
She lives in Cranford with her husband and two boys. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Tamara Curvin is our Treatment Plan Coordinator. She earned her degree from Eastern International College in 2016.
Tamara joined us in 2022, bringing over 20 years of dental office experience with her. Your individual treatment plan and care is her top priority.
Originally from Clarendon, Jamaica, she brings lots of spice to our team.
She is a full time mom, loves to online shop, work out at the gym and is also an avid runner.
Melissa is our Insurance Coordinator. She has over 12 years’ experience in the dental field and is here to help delegate any and all questions you may have pertaining to your insurance benefits and your treatment. On her free time she runs her photography business and loves art and traveling.
Vickey Tracy is our Greeting Coordinator and is perfectly suited for the job. With her friendly smile and good nature, she makes sure everyone is comfortable in our reception area. Although she is new to the dental world, with her positive attitude and experience in customer service, she quickly mastered the art of confirming and scheduling our dental hygiene appointments.
Vickey and her husband Barney recently celebrated their 50th anniversary of marriage! They live in Clark, New Jersey. They have five children and lots of love for their six beautiful granddaughters. Let’s not forget their mini Australian Shepherd, Ruby.
Vickey loves going to the beach, reading a good book, and a good laugh. We also enjoy that she loves to cook and share her delicious creations with the office.
Laurie Pontrelli Vecchia is our Dental Insurance Coordinator. Working in the dental field for more than 25 years, first as an assistant and then as a manager, she has the experience we need to get your insurance claims paid. For most of the two days a week she is with us, she is on the phone answering every imaginable dental insurance concern.
Laurie moved to Summit in 2016 from Los Angeles and joined our team in 2022. She has experienced New Jersey’s four seasons, the shore, the “city”, and the north eastern lighthouses. Laurie and her husband Lou, have been living in Lake Hopatcong for the past three years and will be heading back to California this winter.
Fortunately with modern technology, Laurie will continue to track our dental claims remotely from her sunny desk in Westwood, California.
Clinical Staff
Dr. Karen Kulikowski has been a member of The Dental Studio since December 2021. Dr. K began her dental career as a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant working in solo and group general practices and as an oral surgery assistant.
For 37 years Dr. K was a Professor at the School of Health Related Professions teaching in both the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs. Dr. Kulikowski served as a Sergeant with the 194th Medical Detachment in the New Jersey Army Reserve National Guard for eight years. Dr. K received her DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Kulikowski is currently on the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Board of Education.
Dr. K is dedicated to improving the smiles of her patients by providing excellent dental care and educating her patients to maintain their oral health. In her free time, she enjoys taking day trips with her son to historical sites and visiting museums.
Fabiana DiGregorio has been with Dental Studios since June 2013.
Fabiana graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been in the dental field for 26 years, first working as a dental assistant prior to pursuing her dental hygiene degree. Fabiana grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, and is a graduate of the Livingston High School.
Fabiana loves having the opportunity to interact with her patients and takes pride in being thorough and gentle with her cleanings. Fabiana is dedicated to providing a healthy smile to every one of her patients.
In her spare time, Fabiana loves to play tennis, bake, and spend time with her husband Tom and her chihuahua, Roxy.
Dana DiStefano earned her Dental Hygiene degree in 1990 at Union County College/UMDNJ prior to earning her degree she worked at Dental Studios Summit, New Jersey location as a dental assistant.
Dana has been a 30+ year member of the team at the Dental Studios of Summit, recently increasing her hours to meet the patient demands of the practice. Her goals as your dental hygienist are to provide a positive, comfortable dental visit while providing top quality treatment.
She grew up in Berkeley Heights and currently resides in Warren, in her free time Dana enjoys spending time with her two grown children, beach time, travel and watching the Yankees.
Angela has been in the dental field for 27 years, and has been a dental hygienist for 12. She currently lives in Cranford with her husband, 3 children, Brooke, Lauren, Nicholas, and her two dogs, Ella and Mac. She is passionate and dedicated to provide top notch care and education to her patients, along with building long term relationships. She enjoys traveling, exercising, and going to the beach.
Anne was born in Dodge City, Kansas and was raised in Italy by her father who was a professor of Philosophy, and her mother who nurtured six children. She has been a part of the dental field since 1990. Anne completed her studies at the Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, NJ where she became a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Assistant.
Anne is a compassionate and caring professional who continues to further her education by attending dental continuing education courses annually. And she says ALL aspects of her life is guided by the “Golden Rule.”
Thayany is one of our dental assistant’s in both summit and Westfield. She has been in the dental field for nine years. Thayany loves interacting and getting to know her patients. On her free time she enjoys hiking and going down the shore with her family
